Whether it was a drive up, or a hike in, each place brought us a different experience and one more reason to love traveling within Alberta.

Winter. There’s usually two sentiments attached to this season that can start as early as September for those of us up here in Alberta: love it or loathe it! I was given the opportunity to try out a new winter activity that had been on my radar for quite some time + is creating quite the buzz these days: Fat Biking.
Everyone has their own version of a travel ‘To-Do’ list; some have a few specific spots they can’t wait to see, others’ are miles long and seem to change from year to year. Though I’m certainly guilty of the latter, Africa has always been a place I’ve been dying to see, specifically East Africa. After a few failed attempts to organize a trip to the region, this past Christmas break I finally got the opportunity to travel to Tanzania.
