Gear: Westcomb Outerwear

Have you heard of Westcomb Outerwear?

Neither had we until a little while back AV was in search of a new down hoody for an upcoming backpacking and camping trip. (If you follow her on instagram, the amount of photos in which she is wearing this down hoody speak for the quality + functionality of WC’s pieces!)

Westcomb is based in Vancouver, their pieces are designed, tested + made in Canada! With a unique design to production model the goods they create are both stylish + technologically built for our often temperamental Canadian weather!

AV has been consistently using her Fuse LT Hoody Softshell + Bailey Merino Layer for the past 6 months on all her outdoor adventures. From 3 weeks of fall camping + hiking in the Grand Tetons to kilometres logged on the xc trails these pieces have been through it all! Rain, snow, sleet and wind!

We’ve put together some thoughts on these two pieces after using them for 6 months, for release in our upcoming monthly review feature(hint, it’s probably a positive review), but until then head on over to WESTCOMB.CA to check out their goods!
